Packham pears are a good source of fiber and vitamin C. They are a slow-ripening variety of pears with green skin that becomes light yellow when ripe.
Storage & Handling
Store green-skinned pears at room temperature for 3 to 7 days to ripen. When ripe, store in a plastic bag in the fridge for up to three days.
Usage Tips
For a delicious snack, slice a pear, pan-fry in butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Packham pears also make an excellent addition to salads.
Buerre Bosc
Food Facts
We're a large bell-shaped pear with an elongated neck and greenish-brown skin covered with russetting. As our name indicates we originated in France in 1835. Our flesh is white and juicy and has a long storage life.

Williams Pears

We're a medium to large pear with a yellow-green skin (yellow when ripe) and white juicy flesh. We originated in England in 1770. Due to our high sugar content we're used in canning and for desserts.
